Our story

The Mirabox story: built by a pest controller, for pest controllers

Souris sur un site professionnel

For more than 27 years I have worked in mouse control.
And yet, for all the experience and rigour this trade demands, one frustration always comes back: uncertainty.

When a pest controller treats a site, they do not know straight away whether the treatment will work. They have to wait, sometimes one or two weeks, before seeing any result.

And if the result is not there, everything starts again: change products, adjust the method, go back to site, and so on. Meanwhile the client doubts, and far too often the pest controller becomes the butt of the joke.

I remember it very clearly.

One day, on a job in a restaurant, the cooks made fun of me. Laughing, they said:

“Your products aren't mouse control, they're vitamins! There are even more of them than before!”

That sentence stayed with me, because it sums up what we all know: a serious trade, rarely respected, judged on results that come late, and sometimes humiliated.

More than twenty prototypes

From frustration to action

That day I made a decision: build something that changes the game.

For more than two years I designed, tested, corrected and improved over twenty prototypes.

Always in real conditions: restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, food factories. Demanding places where nothing is forgiven. Every fault I came across pushed the tool further, until it became reliable and robust.

Mirabox came out of that obsession.

Our purpose

Mirabox is more than a trap

It is the result of 27 years of experience, and of a personal fight:

Give the pest controller the certainty that their work pays off.
Give the profession back the credibility and the respect it deserves.
Turn an undervalued trade into recognised expertise.

Mirabox exists to raise the standard of our profession. We are not here to hand out “vitamins for mice”. We are here to protect, to prevent and to deliver.

Regulation

An answer to a changing trade

Regulatory and environmental requirements are changing, and professionals have to adapt their methods.

Marteau de juge, réglementation

No biocides

Capture is mechanical. No toxic bait is brought onto the client's site.

In step with current changes

A dependable tool that follows these changes while keeping a high level of operational performance.
