Most traps wait for the mouse to be attracted, to take an interest and to choose to go in. Mirabox intercepts it as it moves about naturally.
Two entrances at floor level, the trap set against the wall, directly on a route the mice already use. With or without bait, the principle stays the same: never ask the mouse to change its behaviour in order to meet the trap.

The mechanism
How Mirabox works
Six steps, from the floor-level entrance to the container. Mirabox intercepts and captures mice continuously, with no toxic bait.
Set against a wall, on a travel route, Mirabox intercepts the mouse where it already runs. It goes in by itself through one of the two floor-level entrances, with or without bait.
The mouse moves into the entry tunnel. An infrared sensor detects it and triggers the doors to close, along with the capture mechanism.
A lift system raises the mouse.
A pusher directs the mouse into a second compartment. It can no longer turn back: its only way out is the ladder. The lift goes back down, the pusher returns to its starting position, and the trap is ready for the next capture.
By the ladder, the mouse moves from the lower section into the ABS bucket. A ramp then leads it up to the tilting plate at the top of the container.
The plate tips under the weight of the mouse, which falls into the container of hygienising and deodorising liquid.

Built to last
MIRAPOWER battery
A rechargeable lithium-ion battery developed specifically for Mirabox. You charge it, you set the trap, and it works for about three months under normal conditions.
Protection system: below a safety threshold the battery cuts out by itself. No deep discharge, so a longer service life and performance that holds up over time.
Charge level checked in one move, with the TEST button on top of the battery.
CC/CV charging with the dedicated charger, then back into its housing in the trap in seconds.

MIRASAVE hygienising and deodorising liquid
A dilutable hygienising and deodorising liquid, developed for the Mirabox container. Captures build up without decomposing: odours are greatly reduced and the site stays clean.
Directions: pour 2 L of Mirasave into the Mirabox container, then add 2 L of tap water.
Carcasses keep for a long time: you empty the container at the pace of your visits, not in an emergency.
